A-Appliance Xperts Inc FAQ

Have an application repair services-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • 1. What is your service charge?

Our service charge varies depending on the type and brand of your appliance. For most residential appliances, the service charge is $140. For coin-operated washers and dryers, stand-alone ice makers, and high-end residential brands, the service charge is $150. For commercial appliances, the service charge is $180. And those prices do cover two appliances, there is an additional charge per appliance after the second appliance.

  • 2. Wait, you advertise free service charge.

The service charge is waived if any repairs are made. You only pay the service charge if no repairs are completed.

  • 3. Why is there even a service charge?

For the technician's time and experience. Having the combined experience of several decades of fixing appliances to be tailored for your specific problem is worth more than a general YouTube help video.

  • 4. What information do I need to schedule an appointment?

The brand of the appliance, type of appliance, and what the appliance is doing or not doing that is different than how you expect it to perform.

  • 5. Why do you not need the model and serial number?

The model and serial number are only required when we need to order parts for the appliance. We do carry the most common parts with us. However, we, unfortunately, cannot order parts for an appliance that we have not previously diagnosed.

  • 6. Do you sell appliances?

We do not. We only repair. We make every effort to reasonably repair your appliance for less than you can purchase a replacement. And since we only repair, our technicians are not attempting to persuade you to replace every appliance in your home.

  • 7. When would you recommend replacing an appliance instead of repairing it?

We only recommend replacing an appliance when the part you need is no longer manufactured by the original manufacturer, and an alternative part is not available. We will only ever give you the cause of the problem.
